The Regional InterAgency Council Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (RIACAT-VAWC) and Regional Inter-Agency Council Against Child Pornography (RIACACP)-CALABARZON awarded Certificates of Commendation to DOLE-Rizal Provincial Head Marivic B. Martinez and to Labor Inspector Joseph B. Rosal, Senior Labor and Employment Officer, and Charmaine D. Baisa, Labor and Employment Officer III. Last February 2020, a 15-year old minor under the alias of Sophia was rescued together with  other eight women who were working in a spa in Antipolo offering sexual services to its customers.

During the 3rd Quarter RIACAT-VAWC and RIACACP  Meeting held on October 2020, Resolution No. 2 series of 2020 was signed. The said Resolution recognizes the services of frontliners responding to concerns on human trafficking, violence against women and their children and other forms of gender-based violence, and child pornography, and all other frontliners during the COVID-19 pandemic through Certificates of Commendation awarded.

The Rizal Provincial Office Head Martinez congratulated her staff for the said recognition and assure their clients and stakeholders that Rizal Provincial Office will still continue to work and give quality services among its clients amidst the pandemic.
