To capacitate the Batangas’ PESO Managers and their staff, a seminar-workshop was organized by the Batangas Provincial Federation of PESO Managers, Inc and DOLE Batangas Provincial Office las August 20 at Villa Maura, Batangas City, Batangas.

The activity, entitled the “Fundamentals of Career Coaching,” aimed to capacitate its 40 participants the ways on how to handle their jobseekers and/or coachees. It also seeks to develop a more functional and competitive leaders in their respective municipalities and cites.

In her welcome message, Batangas Provincial Federation of PESO Managers, Inc. President Rose Lyn C. Francisco recognized the enthuasiasm and eagerness of every PESO Managers and staff in their adherene to this call for skills enhancement.

Atty. Mickel M. Borigas, the current Vice President of Batangas City Information Communication Technology Business Council for Talent Development, served as the resource speaker for the activity. As a certified life skills and self-discovery coach, he presented set of principles, values and techniques to increase their understanding of their coachees. Atty. Borigas also emphasized that no matter how few or many jobseekers or career-shifters they handle, the latter must leave the discussion inspired, confident and energized.

On the other hand, DOLE Batangas Provincial Director Predelma M. Tan awarded Certificates of Recognition to the 2020 PESO performers. These are PESOs which excelled and strived to accomplish their significant targets last year, despite the pandemic.

PD Tan also expressed her gratitude to every PESOs for their undying commitment to provide efficient and effective delivery of services to their constituents and their continuous support to the DOLE’s projects and programs.

DOLE Batangas’ staff present in this activity are Ms. Jonalyn Ramilo, Employment Focal; Ms. Mirasol Celemin, Labor Inspector; Mr. Chester del Valle and Mr. Romel Ramiro, Employment Unit personnel.
