BENEFICIARIES FROM BALAYAN & NASUGBU CARRY OUT TUPAD PROGRAM

The Department of Labor and Employment Batangas Provincial Office (DOLE BPO) conducted a site visit in different barangays in Balayan and Nasugbu, Batangas recently to monitor the implementation of TUPAD program.

Mr. Edwin Estolano, clerk/SAP officer, reported that he witnessed the beneficiaries performing various tasks being done in the subject areas. Accordingly, sixty (60) beneficiaries from the United Balayan Tricycle Operators and Driver’s Association (TODA) were sweeping the streets, declogging the drainage and clearing the canals of Brgy. Caloocan, Balayan, Batangas while the 116 beneficiaries were carrying out the clean-up drive in the public seashore of Brgy, Bucana, Nasugbu Batangas.

 



Said activities were implemented in collaboration with the United Balayan (TODA), AP Partylist and the Offices of Cong. Elenita Ermita Buhain and Sen. Joel Villanueva.

 



Aside from the PPEs, T-shirts and insurance provided, all beneficiaries shall receive a compensation of Four Hundred Pesos (P400) daily minimum wage equivalent to Four Thousand Pesos (P4,000) upon completion of their 10- day community works.
