MORE THAN 16,000 JOBS OFFERED AT KALAYAAN JOB FAIR IN LAGUNA

There are 12,408 vacant jobs up for grabs during the job fair organized by the DOLE Regional Office IV-A in partnership with the City Government of Calamba and SM City Calamba on 11 June 2022.

Regional Director Exequiel Ronie A. Guzman invites jobseekers to take this opportunity to land on a job and be free from joblessness in celebration of the 124th Independence Day with the theme “Pagsuong sa Hamon ng Panibagong Bukas.”

“As the economy gradually opens, we have invited some 50 partner employers to offer their vacancies so that jobseekers will have the opportunity to land a job and recover from the impacts of the pandemic,” Director Guzman said.

Production Operators remain to be the top occupation with 9,110 vacant positions followed by warehouseman (363), assembly staff (200), production worker (180), and sewer (150), among others.

Director Guzman likewise noted that “this job fair promotes inclusivity as there are vacancies available for persons with disabilities, senior high school graduates, senior citizens, and displaced OFWs.”

A similar activity to be led by the Provincial Government of Laguna is set to be held on June 12 at MetroCentral Mall, Santa Cruz, Laguna with 26 participating employers offering at least 4,171.
