Press Releases

Regional Director Exequiel Ronie A. Guzman leads the hybrid flag raising ceremony of the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office IV-A, the first since lockdown and restrictions have been imposed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Held at the WODP Training Center, the flag ceremony was participated in-person by employees in the Regional Office, and via Zoom by employees in the Provincial Offices. Also present in the in-person ceremony were OIC-Assistant Regional Director Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño II, Provincial Office Heads, Mediation-Arbitration and Legal Services Unit and Division Heads.

During the ceremony, Planning Officer Rewill Jane Rivero presented the Department’s accomplishments for the first half of the year. In his message, ARD Leaño II stressed the need to clear all the Department’s back logs in preparation for the new administration. He also appreciated the Provincial and Division Heads’ efforts for successfully implementing DOLE’s programs and services. RD Guzman also commends everyone for their consistent performance in achieving the target goals for 2022, which he comments a far improvement from the Department’s performance in the previous year. With this, he hopes for the employees to have a continued work drive for the remaining half of the year.

The flag raising ceremony will be conducted weekly to ensure employees regularly accord respect to the Philippine flag and to be constantly reminded of their duties as public servants. Aside from the flag raising ceremony, a Holy Mass will also be conducted monthly at the Regional Office in-person and via Zoom for Provincial Offices.
