DOLE Quezon Provincial Office Head, Mr. Edwin T. Hernandez, congratulated Mr. Jimenez for meeting the standards specified in the guidelines for the college assistance under the program.

"I would like to congratulate Stephen Jimenez for qualifying in this scholarship program and for studying diligently despite the obstacles we all face, particularly during the COVID-19 outbreak. You are a role model for both your community and your peers,” he remarked.

Mr. Hernandez further emphasized that in order to continually qualify for the scholarship grant, the recipient must maintain a passing grade in the course enrolled, carry a full course load for each term as required by the curriculum, and adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.

According to Mr. Jimenez, the scholarship will significantly benefit his academic pursuits.

“This scholarship you have given me is a great help for my studies. I am happy because I will be able to help with my schoolwork and also with our household needs. I will study harder to get high grades,” he mentioned.

Mr. Stephen Eric R. Jimenez is a dependent of Mr. Isagani Jimenez of JNJ Oleochemicals, Inc. based in Lucena City, Quezon. The company manufactures Coco Methyl Ester (CME), a key component of biodiesel products.
