732 workers affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine brought about by COVID-19 will receive P5,000 each as they are the among the 1st batch of beneficiaries of the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP). These workers come from 32 private establishments in CALABARZON.

“We are really fast tracking the processing of applications for CAMP to give financial support as soon as possible to workers whose companies either implemented flexible work arrangements or had to close temporarily due to the government's lockdown order to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease.” DOLE IV-A Regional Director Henry John S. Jalbuena mentioned.

“This financial assistance will be directly released to the employees’ payroll account through bank transfer while for cash payroll, it shall be received through money remittance,” Director Jalbuena added.

The CAMP is a safety net program that offers financial support and employment facilitation to affected workers in private establishments that have adopted flexible work arrangements (FWAs) or temporary closure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
